CultureCamp Guelph

All members of the creative community are invited to attend this free ‘unconference’ that will allow you to:

• share your ideas
• interact with your peers
• broaden your reach
• prepare for Culture Days

Inspired by the community initiatives of ‘Ideas Transform’ in Waterloo Region, CultureCamp Guelph is an ‘unconference’ – a participant driven workshop that brings members of the creative community together to engage, learn and collaborate.  Organic and unstructured, this event is meant to generate new ideas and uncover a shared purpose regarding the local arts community. We hope this event is the first of many!

The first CultureCamp Guelph discussion session will take place between 2-4pm, followed by a casual cocktail reception from 4-5pm. We will explore a number of topics but the majority of content will focus on Culture Days. This is a free event open to all members of the community. Bring your fresh ideas, your business cards and your enthusiasm!

Looking for a little inspiration on building your audience? Aubrey Reeves will provide insight on how Culture Days can be used as a springboard to build your audience and enhance your career.  What can I do for myself? What can we do together? The 2011 Culture Days weekend will take place September 30, October 1 & 2, 2011. Culture Days is an annual event that features free interactive activities that invite the public to discover the world of artists, creators, historians, architects, curators, and designers at work in their communities.

Upon arrival, each participant will select the two discussion group that appeal to them. Attendees will then break into small groups to discuss.
